Gajar Ka Halwa


Ingredients:

Carrot (grated) 1 kg

Condensed milk 2 cups

Sugar 250 gm

Ghee 2 tbsp

Whole dried milk (mawa) 100 gm

Cardamom ½ tsp

Dry fruits (almonds, cashew nuts, raisin)

Method:

  • Heat ghee in non stick deep pan n fry grated carrot for 2 mins on medium flame. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Put condensed milk and stir till it evaporates.
  • Put sugar and continue to stir until the mixture becomes slightly thick (around 10-15 mins)
  • Put mawa and stir properly.
  • At the end put cardamom, saffron soaked in milk and dry fruits and mix well.

Decorate with dry fruits and silver leaf.

Ready to serve.

hey shrads.....'Gaajar Ka Halwa' looks very much inviting.....would love to taste it.....dont know when i wil get the chance to hav Halwa.....bt u deserve compliment fr ths one.... waise dekha jaaye to kitchan aur aap ka durr durr tak koi rishta nahi hai......... bt 'Gaajar Ka Halwa'?? and tht too delishious??( actually,it has to b ...aap ke haathon se jo bana hai).....Princess, gr8 start fr ur kitchen career.....i hope tht in near future i wil see more number of such mouthwatering recipes under shrads' name....09
